This GE Chest Freezer is the appropriate dimension for a small-to-medium-sized family; it is rather quiet, energy-efficient (annual estimated value of $25) and well-designed. Some may scoff at it now not being frost-free however, as one who has to endure power blackouts from storms, this is one in all the higher functions: The ice which types throughout the chest actually helps to preserve it insulated and frozen for approximately one week. I bought my GE freezer from Sam's Club for $177 and I consider it is a nice worth. They stated that the handbook says it's a must to plug it into a normal outlet.
