Reviews for GE FCM7SUWW 7.0 cu. Ft. Chest Freezer - White I find it irresistible. It is simply the best dimension for all of the extra's that would not fit in my fridge freezer which is additionally a GE. I am going to purchase baskets tho' to put items in for more straightforward identification. I truly have labels on the whole thing with dates. So some distance, I am a more than happy customer.
Reviews for GE FCM7SUWW 7.0 cu. Ft. Chest Freezer - White I are living in South Louisiana and I keep this freezer beneath my patio, so it has to maintain some changes in temperature ... plus the humidity. This GE Chest Freezer is the appropriate dimension for a small-to-medium-sized family; it is rather quiet, energy-efficient (annual estimated value of $25) and well-designed. Some may scoff at it now not being frost-free however, as one who has to endure power blackouts from storms, this is one in all the higher functions: The ice which types throughout the chest actually helps to preserve it insulated and frozen for approximately one week. I bought my GE freezer from Sam's Club for $177 and I consider it is a nice worth. I already have two fridge freezers, so this one simply supplys added freezer house for when my spouse and I in finding bargains, or for storing a boat-load of contemporary shrimp. You can't go incorrect with this one.
Reviews for GE FCM7SUWW 7.0 cu. Ft. Chest Freezer - White We put this freezer in our basement. The most effective outlet we had used to be a GFI, so I read the manual to seem if there used to be any purpose to no longer plug it right into a GFI. There was nothing about plugging the freezer into a GFI in the handbook. (For these of you who have no idea GFI is, it is the type of outlet you may simply have for your toilet to create a shorter circuit in order that while you drop your hair dryer into the sink you do no longer die. It's a circuit breaker, simply at the wall as a substitute out at your circuit breaker box.) And after placing a little bit meals in it and going on vacation it tripped the GFI. We lost about $500 of meals and we won't get the bleak smell out of it. And here is the place the story starts....

GE support despatched a technician out to seem at our freezer. He established the bleak odor, and plugged it in to peer if if used to be operating (and it was). He advised me that I should not plug it into a GFI. When I informed him there was once no longerhing in the guide he underneathstood why I was once upset. A day later GE fortify called me again to inform me that they would provide us a "deal" of $167.50 for a new freezer (plus a shipping fee). They then informed us that we had three0 days to accept their offer (even with eight months left on the warranty) and that it was their last offer. They mentioned that it used to ben't covered because it was plugged into a GFI. I explained that the handbook mentioned nothing about GFI. They stated that the handbook says it's a must to plug it into a normal outlet.
